There are many factors that determine how long it will last- how many times you are in and out of your vehicle, if the window is left open, how big your vehicle is, what the temperature is, and if the sun is out. Different scents will be stronger and/or dissipate sooner depending on that individual scent. They should not melt, however, on a hot summer day, in a vehicle closed up for hours or in direct sunlight, they may melt or stretch out. The melting/softening point of polymer is 140-160 degrees.
