iPhone XS Max has a 6.5-inch all-screen Super Retina display. The back is glass, and there's a stainless steel band around the frame. The side button is on the right side of the device. There are 12MP wide-angle and telephoto cameras on the back. There's a Quad-LED True Tone flash on the back and a SIM tray on the right side that holds a "fourth form factor" (4FF) nano-SIM card. The IMEI is etched on the SIM tray.

The phone is great, and so much faster than my old phone. I love it! Just a few helpful ideas: When the phone arrived it had zero battery charge so I did have to charge it up before switching content from my old phone. Also the "Hello" screen didn't come up for me until I erased all content, but that is SUPER EASY. It took me awhile to get the Face ID working which was probably user error because I was switching from Android. The battery capacity is at 83%. Overall, it is a great phone, and I'm very happy! If you're switching from Android, I suggest having a little patience.
