having used many other 3rd party cases since the first generation of iPhone, to this day, I am still favoring the original cases from Apple. simply because they produce the most ideal cases firmly fit the phones without any major concerns, although of course the biggest hesitation of buying the original cases is due to its hefty pricing, but regardless and even more so now, that my iPhone X is costing me a fortune i would want to protect it while not giving away the aesthetics. got this red leather case on top of my pink silicone case so i can alternate every now and then, always to my expectation, used the brown leather case on my 7 before, although its tanning well due to usage, but i think i would want to see my X case be fresh and clean at all times, so i chose this product red color. and this is an original case from Apple, and it has always been when i purchased in the past from Amazon.I recently ordered this Pink Fuchsia Leather Apple case and I must say I am highly impressed! ❤️ I own multiple Apple products and have had other iPhones in the past. I have always decided to go with a third party case because of the open bottom. I’m absolutely kicking my self for that now! ?‍♀️ Lol. This case is by far the best case I have ever owned! ? Fits and functions perfectly! My favorite feature is the feel of the leather and the metal buttons! It is far more sturdy than it appears and seems to offer adequate protection. I have a glass screen protector on my phone and the sides are raised up over it so if I place it on the table it is resting on the case not glass. I have also received several compliments on the Pink Fuchsia Leather! Since I purchased this case, I have bought the Black leather and the Saddle Brown leather. Yes, they are a little costly but in my opinion it is worth it, like all other Apple products!❤️?Nice phone case light weight guys would buy again !This is a great case. It doesn't add a lot to the size of the slick iPhone X, but it comes up over the screen enough to protect it from minor drops and daily wear and tear. Mine is in the Dark Aubergine color, which is a deep dark purple. It's a subtle color, but it looks great in person.I had the version for the iPhone 6 and this one is very similar so it should be familiar to anyone who has used an official Apple Leather phone case. One major change from my old phone's case is that this case integrates metal buttons that emulate the feel of the volume button and power buttons that are covered by the case. This is a small change, but it makes a big difference in the ease of use of the case. On my old case, the leather over the buttons wore down over time which made pressing them more difficult. That issue has been resolved in this version.Started leaking after a couple weeks. Really sloppy too.Very pleased with this iPhone cover. The color is a beautiful raspberry pink. The leather is sleek, with just a touch of a grain. It went onto the phone easily and has not moved. Perfect case! Would buy again.I should have known that Apple wouldn't discount this case so much -- this is clearly not a real Apple case. The packaging resembles Apple's packaging in the sense that it's all white and similarly sized/shaped, but stops short of actually saying it is made by Apple.The case itself is "fine". The leather is a little less soft and grippy than Apple's (my previous case was a genuine Apple leather case, so I'm directly comparing) but overall it fits right and feels OK. It smells like real leather, so I believe it is leather -- not some pleather junk. The Apple logo in the back is stamped in slightly differently from my genuine case (this one is more definitively outlined, whereas the genuine one is just embossed), but you'd have to compare to see the difference, it looks good-enough if you're not comparing.I'm keeping the case, and I'll see how it goes. I'm hoping it wears/ages as well as the genuine one, which gets very nice leather "character" as it gets beat up. The case itself is fine, it's just disappointing to think you're getting an actual Apple product, and then to receive a knock-off.It is a genuine Apple case. I got the fuchsia one, which was probably a mistake. I've had this case since Nov 3rd and this is what it looks like now. It gets dirty right away, I notice it more on the edges.Aesthetically: this case is probably not a good idea as the leather gets scratched and dirty pretty easily, but that also depends on the user and the color.Functionality: It works just fine, the buttons are accessible as well as the charging port. It's also easy to take off, it doesn't get stuck like other cases I've used.TIP: If you have never had one of these cases, go to the nearest Apple store to have a feel for yourself before making the purchase.Have to say I wanted the dark purple case for a while now as I have the black leather case which I purchased from Apple’s website for a while now. I have compared both case and the box it comes in to be the exact same. Everything on this this is exactly like the one I purchased from Apple. I was originally going to buy this from Apple but was a long wait time, I’m glad I purchased this from amazon and am very happy with this case.Good quality, solid built, pleasant feeling!Great qualityMit dem Kauf eines iPhone 6 begann mein damaliger Leidensweg!Das iPhone 4 oder 5 konnte gelegentliches Fallenlassen auf Fliesen oder Straßenpflaster noch ganz gut verkraften.Aber ab dem 6-er war es damit leider vorbei.Der erste Bildschirm war nach einer Woche kaputt. Dabei ist das Handy nur beim Sitzen von meinem Knie auf Parkettfußboden heruntergerutscht und es hat puff gemacht. Das zweite Mal dann ein zwei Monate später auf der Toilette. Nach dem dritten Crash innerhalb eines Jahres habe ich dann auch mal kapiert, dass es so nicht weitergehen kann. Displayfolie hatte ich schon von Beginn an drauf. Wie ihr lesen könnt, ohne Erfolg. Bei mir waren es immer die Displayecken, die bei einem Sturz zuerst auf dem Boden aufschlugen, wobei dann auch keine Displayfolien helfen, die ich aufgeklebt hatte.Also blieb nur noch eine Hülle, die gegen solche Stürze hilft und dazu noch zeitlos gut aussieht und lange hält.Eine erste 20 Euro Hülle war nach ein paar Monaten zwar noch nicht ganz kaputt, aber an den wichtigen Ecken, die man zum Displayschutz braucht, war diese Hülle weich und zerknautscht. Zudem sah sie vom Material her aus, als wenn sie 10 Jahre als sei.Anschließend habe ich eine Apple Hülle gekauft. Diese Hülle ist beim iPhone 6 noch heute nach 2 Jahren im Einsatz und bei meinem iPhone X (zusätzliches Firmenhandy) ist sie nun auch drauf.Ich kann nun also nach mehr als 2 Jahren sagen, dass trotz mehrerer haarsträubenden Stürze das Display noch nicht einmal wieder kaputt war.Bei dem 6-er sieht man nach den 2 Jahren Einsatzzeit an den Ecken Druckstellen von den Stürzen, aber die Ecken sind immer noch stabil und halten. Und das ist eben wie ich finde die Qualität dieser Hüllen, die andere so nicht haben. Zudem sieht eine Hülle von Apple nach 2 Jahren immer noch ganz Ok aus und hat eine glatte Lederoberfläche.ca. 50 Euro sind vielleicht nicht ganz so günstig, aber zum einen sind iPhone ja auch nicht gerade billige Handys und wer sich so ein Gerät leisten kann, wird vielleicht auch noch die 50 Euro für die Hülle zusammen bekommen.Zumal ich im Endeffekt noch Geld für diverse Displayreparaturen gespart habe.Zum Schluss das negative: Ich habe die erste Hülle für das iPhone 6 in einem recht hellen Braun gekauft. Nach 2 Jahren ist aus der Farbe Braun eher dunkel dunkelbraun geworden. Irgendwie ist der Dreck/Schmutz über die Zeit hinweg ins Leder gezogen. Zwar recht gleichmäßig, weshalb es nicht fleckig aussieht, aber doch sehr dunkel.Hätte auch gleich Schwarz oder Aubergine nehmen können. aber ich muss auch dazusagen, das so ein Handy bei mir einen Gebrauchsgegenstand darstellt und entweder in der Hosentasche oder wenn ich am Basteln bin, auch mal auf einer dreckigen Werkbank liegt.Fazit: Für mich eine optisch ansprechende und sehr haltbare Hülle, die wirkungsvoll Displayschäden vermeidet und dabei nicht so dick aufbaut, wie z.B. Hüllen mit Deckel und ähnlichem, die man erst umständlich aufklappen muss. Das geht auch anders bzw. einfacher.Bin zufrieden...passt wie angegossen und sitzt fest...durch den langen Ausschnitt an der Unterseite (Lautsprecher) ist das Phone aber nicht zu 100prozent geschützt...wenn es genau darauf fällt und wenn dann tut es das meist, sind Schäden am Gehäuse möglich.
