It doesn’t wrap around the apple as smoothly as shown in the picture, but after some microwaving and stretching gently, it gets there. Use a medium to small apple. However, it does taste good. I would purchase again.These appear to be “old” as they were not pliable and very difficult to remove from paper, hence problematic in wrapping around appleI see many people commenting who are doing it all wrong. You wash and dry your apple. Then put the stick in it. Take the caramel sheet out and stretch it as you pull it over the apple and tuck it in at the bottom.Then put it in the oven NOT microwave on a LOW HEAT at like 200-250 degrees. Let it cook about 5 minutes until it starts to bubble ever so slightly.As for the one star knock off, these are WAY overpriced. Grocery stores have them for about $2-3 a pack of 5, so I thought I was getting five PACKS, not 5 wraps. I conveniently added them to an order here so I won't make that mistake again.I used to buy these at my local store , looked for over a year and I found them here! Yes, they are expensive since I was paying $2.50 for a pack but I can not help myself... I love them and don’t feel bad since I am having an Apple:-) I can eat a pack in a day! In Virginia we just never keep the good stuff:-(Arrived on time in good condition. A nice holiday treatFlaver is great. Very exspencive.Extremely hard to pull caramel off the paper and would only cover extremely small apples.I love these on apples. Walmart hasn't had them lately so I ordered from AMAZON thinking at twice the price there would be more!! Nope same thing. Won't be ordering them again at $7.00!!!!
