Recreating the flavor of a baked-from-scratch pie, Dickinson's Fruit Butters are rich, dark and thick, with hints of cinnamon and sugar. Try our butters on fresh-baked bread, drizzled over ice cream, spread over crisp waffles or swirled in plain yogurt. It's the taste of home, sweet home.
Buttery smooth texture
Easy to spread
No butter or fat is added
When this product arrived, it was not properly wrapped, and the lid had come off, and the apple butter was all over the inside of the package! All I could do was throw the whole thing away.I like it for this use, but do not really like the spices.I love apple butter and was disappointed with this particular brand. The taste was not great. I was introduced to apple butter when I lived in Virginia and traveled to West Virginia during the fall where apple products (like apple butter, apple cider; apple syrup, etc.) are sold. The size was also disappointing as I have purchase larger more flavor able apple butter at my grocery store.I love Apple Butter Jams but this tasted like cinnamon apple sauce I buy at grocery store for $3.50 pack of six so this jam was way over priced in my opinion. This and pumpkin great tasteThis product is great with bagels and toast but it had a long shelf life snd ehen opened it was stale. No the flavor was gone.Great flavor with what i expected from growing up. Not clove-ey at all. Not overly sweet either. Will buy againThis review is from someone who grew up on homemade apple butter. So — first of all it’s a really tiny jar with the dumbest shape. All of the product gets stuck in the corners. Second, the taste and texture are more similar to cinnamon apple sauce than an apple butter.Apple butter, as the name suggests, is supposed to be butter smooth. This was chunky like fine apple sauce and had the tartness of fresh apples.Overall, it was okay but by no means apple butter. It’s more like... just... apple sauce with less juice.
